The COVID-19 pandemic has affected all of our finances, sometimes in good ways – like saving by not going out, shopping for essentials or savings from working from home. Often there are less positive impacts though. With measures like the UK Government’s furlough scheme coming to an end soon, some carers may be feeling anxious about their finances over the coming months.

VOCAL offers a wide range of support with financial matters from advice on benefits like Universal Credit and Carers Allowance as well as a range of free training courses on money matters and even access to grants and other funding in some circumstances.

If you’re feeling anxiety about your finances for whatever reason VOCAL is here for you. You can contact the Edinburgh team on centre@vocal.org.uk or 0131 622 6666 and the Midlothian team are available on midlothian@vocal.org.uk or 0131 663 6869.
