VOCAL are seeking a Short Breaks & Respitality Officer to help develop a Short Breaks & Respitality Hub in Edinburgh and the Lothians, designed to co-produce with unpaid carers a wide range of personalised, flexible short breaks which lead to positive outcomes for unpaid carers and their families.
Salary: 36 hours/wk £28,200 – £30,500
Location: The postholder will be based at the Edinburgh Carers Centre and work across the Lothians with occasional visits to other parts of Scotland.
Funding: This post is National Lottery Funded through the Big Lottery Fund (Scotland) for 3 years.

The postholder will lead partnership developments between VOCAL, commercial companies and professional networks in the Hospitality, Tourism and Leisure (HTL) industry and with third sector partners in Edinburgh & the Lothians to match carer needs and aspirations.
