The Coalition of Carers in Scotland has a vacancy for a Partnership Development Officer (also available as a secondment).
POST: Partnership Development Officer
EMPLOYER: Coalition of Carers in Scotland (employed through VOCAL)
SALARY: £28,625 (pro rata)
HOURS: 30 hours per week with some evening and weekend work 28 days paid leave plus 10 public holidays (pro rata)
LOCATION: The postholder has the option to be based in either Stirling or Dundee. There may be some opportunity to work from home

This a new and exciting development, aimed at supporting our member organisations in building their capacity in advance of the commencement of The Carers (Scotland) Act, in April 2018.
The Development Officer will work directly with our member organisations. They will facilitate national and regional meetings aimed at building capacity and recognising and sharing the best practice and expertise that exists within the third sector.
We are seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual with extensive experience of partnership development and the ability to collaborate effectively with a range of partners.
You must have a background in policy and knowledge of the third sector. As well as proven experience of delivering presentations and training in a variety of settings and of organising and facilitating engagement and learning events.
