Carers urged to get the flu jab

Carer are being urged to get the flu vaccine as early as possible. Unpaid carers, including young carers are eligible the  vaccine which gives protection against three strains of influenza, including H1N1.

People with existing medical conditions or aged 65 and over, frontline NHS staff and pregnant women are also eligible.

The vaccine is now available from GP practices across Scotland – if you haven’t had your flu vaccination yet, then contact your GP surgery to arrange an appointment.
