about us

VOCAL is the Voice Of Carers Across Lothian. We support people who provide unpaid care to family, partners or friends in need of help because they are ill, frail or have a disability. We support carers by

  • campaigning to improve carers rights

  • working in partnership with other organisations to develop the services carers need

  • running a Princess Royal Trust Carers Centre which provides free information, advice, training, advocacy and counselling services.

The PRTC Network:

  • supports 34 Carer Centres and projects in Scotland

  • raises funds to support carer projects

  • offers financial help to carers.
